Terms of Service

the agreement governing your use of BloomwrightLast updated: 26 September 2026

1. Who provides Bloomwright

Bloomwright is provided by Alessandro Ceruti, an individual who runs it as a personal project. There is no company behind it, and nothing on this service is sold.

By creating an account or using the service you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use Bloomwright. These terms work together with the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy.

2. What Bloomwright is, and what the open beta means

Bloomwright is a tool that helps you plan and write long-form fiction, with AI assistance at several points in the process. It is currently in an open beta that runs until 30 November 2026. During the beta:

  • the service is free, and there is no paid plan to buy;
  • AI usage is capped per user over rolling windows, and the whole platform pauses its AI features if a monthly budget is exhausted — so the service may be temporarily unable to generate text;
  • features can change, be reworked or be removed without notice;
  • there is no uptime guarantee, no service level, and no promise that any particular feature will still exist after the beta ends.

A beta is software still being built. Treat anything you write here as work you also keep a copy of — the service offers an export at any time, and you should use it.

3. Your account

An account is created by signing in with Google. You are responsible for the Google account you sign in with and for anything done through your Bloomwright account.

  • You must be at least 14 years old to use Bloomwright, consistent with the minimum age stated in the Privacy Policy.
  • One person, one account. Do not create accounts in someone else’s name or to obtain more AI usage than the caps allow.
  • You can delete your account at any time; deletion is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

4. Your work stays yours

Everything you write, upload or generate through Bloomwright remains yours. We claim no ownership of it and no licence to publish, sell or reuse it.

  • Your content is processed only to run the service for you: to store it, to show it back to you, and to send the parts that are needed as context to the AI providers listed in the Privacy Policy.
  • We do not use your content to train AI models, and we do not make it available to other users.
  • You can export your work at any time, in the formats the service offers. You are responsible for keeping your own copies.

You are responsible for having the right to use whatever you put into Bloomwright, including any text you import or paste from elsewhere.

5. Text generated by the AI

Bloomwright generates suggestions, structure and prose using third-party AI models. This has consequences you should understand before you publish anything:

  • Generated text is not guaranteed to be original or unique. Two users giving similar instructions can receive similar output, and the models may reproduce common phrasings.
  • Generated text is not guaranteed to be accurate. Anything factual it produces — a historical detail, a place, a procedure — must be checked by you.
  • You decide what to keep. Nothing is published on your behalf. What you do with the output, including publishing or selling it, is your decision and your responsibility.

The legal status of AI-assisted work differs between countries and continues to change. If it matters for how you intend to publish, take your own advice on it.

6. Acceptable use

Bloomwright is a tool for writing fiction, and fiction goes to dark places — that is not what this section is about. What is not allowed is:

  • content that sexualises minors, in any form, real or fictional;
  • content that harasses, threatens or incites violence against real people, or that is unlawful under Italian or EU law;
  • using the service to produce material intended to deceive — impersonation, fraud, disinformation presented as fact;
  • attempting to break, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the service, or to circumvent the usage caps;
  • reselling access to the service, or using it as an intermediary to provide AI generation to others;
  • automated or bulk use that is not a person writing a book.

The AI providers behind Bloomwright apply their own content policies, which may refuse a request independently of these terms.

7. Credits and usage limits during the beta

Your account shows a usage allowance. During the beta it is granted free of charge, it has no monetary value, it cannot be bought, sold, transferred or exchanged for money, and nothing in it constitutes a purchase.

Usage limits exist because every AI generation has a real cost. Reaching a limit is not a fault or a penalty: it pauses generation until the window resets, and the service tells you when that is.

8. Availability, suspension and closing the service

The service is provided as it is, while it is available. We may:

  • interrupt the service for maintenance, or because a third-party provider is unavailable;
  • suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, or where there is reasonable evidence of abuse — with notice where circumstances allow;
  • end the beta, change the service, or discontinue it entirely.

If the service is to be discontinued, reasonable notice will be shown inside the application, and may also be sent to the email address associated with your account, so that you can export your work first.

9. Limitation of liability

Bloomwright is provided free of charge and without warranty of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that generated text will meet your expectations.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the provider is not liable for indirect or consequential damage, lost profits, or loss of data or content — which is why an export function exists and why you should use it. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.

If you use Bloomwright as a consumer, the mandatory protections granted to you by the consumer law of your country of residence apply regardless of anything written here, and nothing above limits them.

10. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Italian law. If you use Bloomwright as a consumer resident in the European Union, you also keep the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence, and any dispute may be brought before the courts of the place where you are resident or domiciled.

Before going to court, please write to us — most problems are faster to fix than to litigate. Consumers resident in the EU may also use the European Commission’s online dispute resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

11. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated to reflect changes in the law or in the service. In the event of material changes, a notice will be shown inside the application the next time you sign in, and may also be sent to the email address associated with your account. The current version is always available on this page, with the date it was last updated. Continuing to use Bloomwright after a change means you accept the updated terms; if you do not, you can stop using the service and delete your account.
